The Core Commitment: 100% Client-Side Audio Processing

Your files never leave your device. All audio decoding, sample manipulation, and MP3 encoding occur solely within your web browser's local memory. No audio bytes, metadata tags, or file contents are ever uploaded to, transmitted across, or stored upon our servers.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

  • Audio Files: We never receive, upload, inspect, or process your WAV files or converted MP3 files.
  • Audio Content & Transcripts: We do not listen to, analyze, transcribe, or retain audio recordings.
  • File Names: We strictly avoid sending user-controlled file names to external logging or analytics services.
  • Personal Information: We do not ask for your name, email address, physical address, or phone number. No accounts or registrations are used.

2. Local Storage and Memory Management

When you select a file, the browser creates a temporary local object URL (e.g. blob:https://...) that points directly to your computer's internal RAM. When you click "Clear All Files" or close your browser tab, all temporary memory allocations and object URLs are immediately revoked and garbage collected.

3. Anonymous Usage Analytics

To maintain server uptime, monitor conversion performance, and evaluate features, we may collect anonymous aggregate telemetry (such as total conversions completed or selected bitrate). These analytics events strictly omit audio files, file names, personal identifiers, or IP addresses.

4. Content Security and Third Parties

We employ strict Content Security Policies (CSP) to ensure that external scripts cannot tamper with or extract audio data from your browser session. Our site relies exclusively on modern, standards-compliant web technologies including Web Workers, Web Audio API, and verified open-source libraries.
